Bachelor Of Science

It's Done! I'm so glad I was able to grab this degree from WGU! I started last year in September 2025 and finished in October 2026! So a year and a month for me is all it took to get a Bachelors degree. I will say having just work experience does help at least for me. I was able to punch through some classes quickly.

My study time was a couple of hours every day after work and pretty much all weekend. It was the motivation that pushed me through this and as I type this I still can't believe its done. Still doing ok at my current employer but it's now time for some job hunting time to see what new careers are out there!

It's been a bit since I posted anything on this site if you don't know this site is generated with Material for MkDocs and it sounds like this type of static site is coming to end in 2027. So we'll be refreshing it with Zensical more than likely. There is just a couple of plugins that are on the roadmap so that I can hopefully move this over pretty smoothly. So more to come!

That's what I got as of this moment right now, I will say if you are looking to further your education WGU was a great experience for me. If you know the material you can usually get through the courses within a handful of weeks and just keep going. I will say if you are new to the field it might be better to go to a classroom and learn with your peers.
