So I started the road to my bachelor's degree in September of this year. The college I'm attending is WGU which has been known for its competency-based online education model, which helps students that know the material to be able to pass through classes and helpful for people with a busy schedule. I've already finished up six classes for this year, with some certifications already in my tool box, thanks to WGU.

For the most part these classes for me have been a good refresher, nothing earth shattering. This is also why my focus on this website has been lacking. I really wanted to build out the CCIE section of this site but since my focus is school, that will have to be put on hold for the time being until I graduate with a bachelors, and the timeline is roughly within a year if my current progress continues.🤞

This was one of those decisions that I spent most of the month of July on. Although I'm glad I'm going down this road. I'm playing the long game, because this will help further my career and my overall goals. Which is just being a down to earth technical guy with experience up the sleeve all the while being humble and kind about it.

Here's to another year of continual growth, with my school, career, partner and family. I'm thankful for the people around me and the understanding of me of just grinding it out to the finish line.

See you in 2026 and beyond!
